grill cross beam delete
grill cross beam delete
Highly considering doing this and making a custom grill just curious if anyone can give me some insight on the difficulty of removing it. It doesn't look too hard but looks can be deceiving.
Thanks

https://www.cobaltss.net/gallery/fil...4/dsc00009.jpg this is what i was thinking of. im not really searching for opinions on how it would look cause thats the advantage of it being my car i can do what i want.i just wanna know how difficult it would be.
It sounds so good in theory, but nobody has bone it right yet. Namely, making a hybrid grill from the SS/TC one, with honeycomb covering the entire opening. And an SS logo in the lower driver side corner.
I have thought about this a LOT haha
I think it would be easy to do using both the upper and lower TC grilles, by cutting the middle out of the top, and replacing it with a strip from the lower grill. I'm down to help out if you wanna do this Aaron.

If you don't do this Aaron, i will haha
i wanna use hardware cloth (wire mesh) i think it would look cleaner. well meet up one day soon to brainstorm the idea more and figure out everything were going to need.
i dont know, i dont think it will look good. The overall grill will be too large for that section of the car. It just looks odd. Im looking at the other people that did it and picturing the SS/TC grill there, and still i cant see it doing it any more justice. It reminds me of a body kit that adds extra holes in areas that it doesnt need holes. This is all IMO, and Ls1 if you **** y0 car up im gonna kill you

That just doesnt look right to me. With the SS/TC grills it will look much better, but i still dont think it looks as good as if you just had that cross beam painted the same exact color as the grills to make it sort of blend and not stand out as much as stock
Edit: Due to further investigation and picture gathering, i retract my previous statement. I need to see a well put together photoshop. I would do myself if my photoshop didnt expire. Untill i crack it, i need some help here. I think it may be able to look good since the gaps not as tall as i pictured in a head on shot
