Grill removal?

Ok, I started to take off my grill. I got all the plastic anchors out of the top near the front of the hood. How do you get it out from the back side? With all those plastic clips and only two hands, it has proven to be a bitch! anyone that has taken their grill off that could give me some words of wisdom on this would be appreciated. I have already used the search button and nothing comes up on the subject.

I took mine out and yes...its a bitch. LOL Basically, just try to pry the plastic clips down one at a time to get them stuck under the grill slats, or you can tape some of them down temporarily. Also, there are two more plastic screws on the inside of the grill that come out with a square headed bit, I think they are on the driver side of the grill. And don't forget the bolts for the Chevy emblem too. Hope that helps.

Thanks. I got the square headed ones out. I just don't want to break one of those plastic clips....Then I'd be assed out!

Looks great though..I would of done what you did with the stock LS front and lip kit but my ls Front has fog inserts near the foglights so the bumper is useless to me

ya i have the base... 1 solid piece, i like it better, no offence, because where your fogs are, mine is all molded, no off color inserts, it just sukd because you could easily just pop your middle out, i cant
