Thanks!

Yes, the painter got chewed out for that one. Our normal painter was booked so we took it to a local bodyshop and the color is NOT exact. We'll fix it after the next 2 shows....

The kit is nice, but it needs to be lower down. The rear, the sides skirts, and the front bumper need to be longer(closer to the ground about 1 or 2 inches lower in the kit itself). The front bumper should have a front lip of some sort to aid in downforce and looks. The factory fog lamp mounting points need to be added as well. I know it is a prototype, but these issues should be addressed before final production, especially at the price you are going to sell them for. As a custom vehicle company myself, I can tell you that these need to be more apparent in the visuals and functionality. Right now the kit looks more like a stock Cobalt than an SS.

Thats a really nice looking kit, though I'd consider firing your paint matcher. It might be just my screen, but the color on the kit doesn't seem to match the body quite right. Especially on the fender.

I like the rear bumper, the front kinda looks like a Cavalier front bumper to me though. All in all I like it.

I agree. The drawings of the kit was very aggressive looking, but aren't transfered over to the car itself. The openings in the front are too small and the fogs are missing from the stock car witch made it look sweet.
Don't take away from a beautiful thing, enhance it so that it stands out in the crowd. I'm sorry but this wouldn't even stand out IMO. Good start though, but it needs some adjusting before it goes to market to really seperate itself from the others. Make a statement with this kit for us cobalt owners so that others take notice on the street and also make us go spend some money on your product.

I agree, the concept renderings were very aggresive and look very sharp. The car is an Opel at heart and if you are going to go aftermarket, it should look like a hot tuned German car that it actually is.

Prototype is glass. Production pieces are thermoformed TPO....very very strong and durable. :-)

I think this is very constructive feedback. I'd like to see a comparison between a stock SS/SC and/or a SS and this one. I am thinking they will be fairly close height-wise.

and this is the nicest kit I've seen so far. to Grip Tuning

exactly, honestly when I look at this kit I don't see many changes. I could probably glance over this thing without even noticing there is a kit on it. There are small changes but definitely not enough to justify full bumper replacements IMO.

Also, those ugly wheels are throwing off the entire look for me.

But good work nonetheless, seems like most enjoy it...

If there were different grill inserts i might think about it, i don't like the chicken wire look that shows everything, IMO stock SS/SC looks better. I don't like how the bumper is molded in the back for the exhaust either.

The back almost looks like it has a belt on and is trying to tighten so the fat doesn't show. Deffinitly needs a lip on front and back.

The kit is not for me and I will echo all the above.
I hope everyone else buys this kit so my SS will always look unique.

I like it. It's not too extreme, or ricer. Very nice.

Man , we think identically . Instill us some of that hot Astra VXR personality .....drool

Probably not practical for kit like this , but given the trapazoid like shape of the liscene plate area , a center exhaust worked into that trapazoid shape underneath it would look very sweet . Something like this :

I figured it just be easier for me to draw it than convey by words , hehe.

Off to a great start though . It definately needs some honing and a little more subtle aggressiveness instilled in the front bumper .
