Hailcesar's next project.......PICS!!
well looks like im done. wanted to show you guys some pics of how nice and shiny it cam out. didnt use ant clearcoat just rubbing compound , polishing compound and wax.

this pic really sucks. but wanted to take a pic without flash. I know, I know invest in a tripod, well i do have one but didnt feel like digging it out.

Now you guys have an idea of how my mirror covers are gonna turn out. Almost like the pics that cobalt-addiction posted.

No can do buddy. You just gonna have to wait.
Thanks a bunch. I like how smooth the surface turned out. Like a babys butt. Cant wait till I finish the mirror caps.

hey bro im not trying to hate but just help improve your skills. you need to invest in a nice sanding block and finish this piece a little more. In the pic you can see those circle like indents in the green square. you need to keep sanding that down flat. otherwise looks good man. also wut type of resin did you use. if it's simlar then your all good but you need some uv protectant.
hey its all good. i honestly dont know if it has any protectant. what can i use for uv protection?
i see what you mean about sanding it don more.ihave a rubber block that u can put sheets of sand paper on. soething like that?
what size grit should i use on those dents?

Well what about the mirror covers? If mine come out good then I'll be more than confident that I can make you a pair.
Thanks I'll definitely head to home depot today.
your gonna need a few coats of clear. also if the block is a hard type rubber then it would probably work but i would get a sanding block from home depot etc. i would probably start at 200. if its taking way to long you could always go to a lower grit but i think 200 would be fine. then work your way up again.
Thanks I'll definitely head to home depot today.
