Bought these used so I gotta fix them myself. What should I use to reattach it?

I'd just use Epoxy, that's what most retrofitters use.

lol or put a little PL premium (found in construction departments at homedepot, lowes etc) on a Q-tip and dab a little on, and I tell ya, that halo will NEVER fall off again

What is PL premium? I need something that can withstand the heat.

get them from retro-solutions.com. They use a version that has an acrylic diffuser over them which makes them appear thicker, and are sturdier than the bare ccfl tube ones that TRS and the like sell. TRS (and buyhids.com can get them) recently release a new set of LED rings which are supposed to be really bright.

So my next question is.....

Would it be safe to put these in the oven with the little electronics that are attached to the projector and halo? I cant remove them. I may have to get the hair dryer out.

Yeah it's fine. Just make sure they don't touch the pan or anything.

Thx. I'm sure I'll be asking more questions when I inevitably break this thing.

Haha! I think the lights are hotter than normal possibly bc I stealth mounted both ballasts for my hid fogs and these under the headlight braket. I dunno if that actually matters but it's the only change I made from when I got them.

It can happen sometimes if the adhesive becomes too hard and brittle. A hard bump in the road can knock them off, same way shrouds pop off sometimes. It just happens. There are more foolproof ways to secure it like using picture hanging wire wrapped around the halo through a hole drilled in the shroud, but that doesn't look nearly as clean.

I googled it last night. I don't think it would be good for this application. Not sure if it could handle the heat from the light.
