Has anyone here painted the plastic piece around the stick the color of their car (red in my case) just curious. I think this would look pretty good. I see a lot of people with their red door inserts and such, just curious if anyone has done this?? Thanks

 

yes mine is painted around the shifter. Here is a picture. Just to let you know tho its a pain in the ass to get the paint to stick on that area. Had to use adhesive promoter several times to make it stay

a matter of fact i do and also use maguires detailing spray on it in between

 

Did you use a clear coat?

had to relocate the radio & air controls, and delete the cup holders in order to install my 7inch monitor

 

thats badass. wanna make me a console in 2 weeks. i'll paint it myself ....lol

 

wow guys those two interiors look damn good. i was expecting some rice ass **** having seen a handful of other painted cobalt interiors. but that looks great
