has anyone removed their LS trim?

hey i have an 07' LS and on the door there is some trim, its not like most cars where there is an indent to allow for the trim, it appears to just be glued on, i removed my badges and was able to clean the area with meguire's scratch-x compound and you can't even see it now.
do you think this will work for the trim?
has anyone done this?

Yeah, plenty of people have done this. It should come off just like the badges.

I like my door trim. But yes, it comes off easily. If you are worried, have a body shop do it. They should be able to remove it rather quickly and cleanly.

I took mine off 2 days after I got the car with some fishing line and some wax and grease remover, its held on with the same kind of double sided tape as the emblems.

That's what I was afraid of when I took my lettering off the back a few weeks ago after 1 1/2 years, but there was no discoloration. You should be good after Goo Gone and wax.

I've done it on both of my Cobalts... my 05 LS and my 06 SS/SC! I used an old credit card to get it off, and then goo gone and a microfiber towel! Came off like a champ and no scratches either!

Gotta' love this weather! I had 80 degree weather one day and then snow the next! How you like them apples!

Just when using the CC just make sure you don't scrape at it! I just pushed it under the badges and then they pop off! It leaves a lot of goo, but then the goo gone just put it on and let it sit on the adhesive for a bit, and then wipe it off and repeat untill gone! It tooke me about an hour for all of my badges on the SS/SC (except the door badges)

soory bro it rained like a bitch last night, i think i might wait til it warms up. mpst people say to do it with heat, so an 80deg day should be perfect.
