headlamp dissasembly

so i read somewhere that you can put them in the oven at 200 for like 20 mins i think it was, to soften the sealent, being that i have a gas stove in my apartment does anyone see it being a fire hazzered, or would i be better off waiting till i have time to sit at the perents place?

i tried the hairdryer methed on a stock set but i mangled them up a bit so i wanna try this way.
