Headlight Newb
I am probably going to get a lot of heat for not using the search button, but honestly, most of this HID crap is way over my head and I don't really care about how bright the light is...the stock is just fine. I just want black housing to match the rest of my car because it gives it a "cleaner" look. I am not mechanically inclined enough to rip apart the stock housing and paint it black, nor do I have the time for it.
So I was looking at these...Anzo
Am I going to need anything else, like a wiring harness kit or are these plug and play?
Will I have to change my fog lights too?
Thanks

i dunno if i would recommend gen 4's. it sounds like he is going to be using halogen bulbs and theres a good chance they will cause the lenses of the 4's to crack (like spiderweb kinda cracks or w/e) bcus of the excess heat that halogens produce.
honestly taking apart your headlights to paint them black is easy. if your really worried im sure there is somebody in your area that will paint them for you for a small price. in the end ull have better headlight quality and it will be cheaper if your just get them painted.

its not easy taking them apart... im trying now and i cant get the glue hot enough im useing a heat gun and im not putting them in my moms oven so thats out.... will the microwave work lol.... i dont see how you guys get them apart

The oven is the best way to get the lights apart. The heat gun doesn't apply enough all around heat to work them apart. It can be done, but the oven is better. Put the oven at 325 and put them in for about 8 minutes. Watch them just to make sure because ovens vary.
