headlight sealer?

headlight sealer?

hey do i have to take all the old sealent off the headlight? or can i use it again and put more do make sure its tight?

I personally left it all there and just reheated the housing/lens in the oven, added some new sealant, and stuck it back together...

i did the same, it seems picky, ive resealed one headlight twice, its the passenger side one. it seems to be hotter on that side of the engine, therefore im thinking some water flashed to steam and got inside cause it not getting any worse
