headlight tint?

hey guys, i have been seing some people put some material along the hood over the top of the headlights, looks pretty good. i think its the way to mod my headlights right now (cash is low) what kind of material is that, and how did u stick it to the headlight? any advise would be greatly apreciated

note: i have the silver cobalt, so wat color would be best (considering finding a silver EXACTLY like the color of my car would be tough)

I think some use vinyl, but most use flat black paint to avoid bubbling.

EDIT: or do you mean like the entire headlight? If so i think they just use nightshade spray paint.

Try this stuff called NightShade. I had the headlights of my old Stang painted with it. Looks pretty good.

using tint is not only better b/c no bubbles but youy can cover more of the light and at night have good vision still beacuse light passes through... i had some of the most drastic eyelids here.... now i have projectors but that worked perfect
