Get the light lamin-x pre cuts for cobalts . I can't say how great mine turned out. Looks great during day and affects nothing at
This is the lamin-x light 7% tint being installed on my car.

you will lose light when i had stock bulbs in there i had to use my brights that made it look like i had the low beams on. so i go hids(6000k) and now no problems
so i guess as long as you have hids it won't affect a thing

It was pretty cold out and I read some bad stories about installation since its much thicker than tint. So I used lamin-x website to find an authorized dealer to install it. I tried 3-4 tint shops none would even touch it. Not sure because they wouldn't make much off the job or it's hard to install. The guy that did it though had it on in about 20 minutes. I payed 30 $ for install . Its hard to tell there is anything over the headlamps and the wax nicely and get shiny if you polish them . They sell polish with it. Eventually I'd like sOme retros or gen 4s but right now I'm saving for go fast stuff and headlights are lower on the list with how thus turned out. I think black housings and these overlays would be ****.
