hey guys... has anyone seen the "headlamp upgrade package" from www.gmaccessories-direct.com?

For $240 how much of a difference could it be?

Maybe the fitment........dont the headlights and bumper have fitment problems?? maybe this just makes them probs look better

or it could be for the 05's like mine, we had just normal headlights but late 06+ had slightly tinted lights

All those headlights are are the SS/SC headlights . For those that dont know , all the SS/SC's headlights used a chrome bezel thats tinted slightly . All other models including the N/A SS use the bright chrome headlights .

I remember hearing about this but I thought the part numbers were the same.

Does anybody have a side by side comparison between the SS/SC dark lamps and the Base chrome lamps?

yeah i noticed that after i painted my headlights they were slightly darker then the red on the car yet they were a perfect match before i put the covers back on.

I can confirm it. I bought the second set of lights to paint and the clear cover is slightly tinted on the SS/SC lights.

I never took pics and it would be hard to tell now since the one set is blue and the other chrome inside...
