headlights

Is there any way to take out the silver headlight post that blocks light in the head lamps? I bought the piaa gt-x plasma purple bulbs and i know they're no HID but anyways, installed them and the post in the middle is blocking all the purple from shining out. any suggestions? I want to go HID but i HATE the projector housings. what would you guys do in the situation. Please be serious because i need to figure out what to do.

You can take out that post , but then your headlights will be completely worthless and would blind the hell outa people . The way the stock Cobalt headlights were designed to work is that post is there to reflect light back into the >reflector< to then shine the light on the road . I would highly advise u deal with not being able see the purple .

LOL@ dead Zen , hahaha

And don't put HIDs in a non projector housing. It pisses everybody off, and is illegal in most areas. HIDs are meant to be in a projector housing.
