OK i think i found out what headlights i am going to purchase. first of all i need to know if the red led's are illegal and 2nd of all i need to know what gen will work with a 06 cobalt ss/Na. i am planning on buying the hid kit that comes with it too and the black housing. i got a red balt btw. these headlights worth the money and are they reliable? i am also getting 10k hid i kinda like the purple color.

driving with colored LEDs is never a good idea

 

In most states the only time you can have red light emit from the front of a vehicle is if you're an emergency responder. Other then that the only red lights can be the tails.

i cant get retrofits to expensive + if i cant get red can i get the blue ones or do i have to get white?

 

Blue will more than likely be just as illegal as Red

also, you cant have red or blue in front of car. unless youre driving around in a cop car or any other emergency vehicle.

Red is fine but request they they don't tie them into the parking light. Just run them off a switch and don't use them while driving. If you want to use them while driving pick a different color. Anything other than red or blue.

 

really? i thought you stopped carrying retros... last time i checked your site you only had the SEXY retros

 

the headlights are blue so i would think the led blue halos would be ok
