Headlights

So I started working on my retrofit recently and I sanded my headlights down and painted them, but was unhappy with result due to a few runs and paint splatter. I wanted to remove the paint and redo them but I started sanding some of the paint off but I cannot get sandpaper into the crevices of the housing. Anyone know of anything to strip paint safely off of our headlights? Any tips wou be appreciated.

Use that spray on aircraft paint thinner at autozone, it works good on plastic bumpers.
