Has anyone taken the chrome thing out of the center of their lights?Did it make it any brighter?

No,the ting in front of the bulb

 

No one has removed it. Just painted the chrome.

I don't understand what everyone's problem is lately with the stock headlight and bulb. I adjusted mine up a little bit and i can see just fine. But once my HID retro is done again seeing at night shouldn't be too much of a problem.

 

i thought it was a needed component

 

I Just put Pia Extreme Whites in mine.

IT made them brighter

The "chrome thing" directs the light from the bulb onto the reflector behind it. That is what creates you pattern. Don't remove it, you will just blind people and have bad lighting.
