the second gen (ccfl's) and the third gen are plug and play.. the first gen you have to cut your harness to wire them up.. if your gonna got the projectors i say go with the third gen.. there is only a few of us that have em so far and imo they are great and look the best.. if you just want good bulbs then get some silver stars or silver star ultra those ar both really good bulbs and very bright..

not to be an ******* but i think most of the board agrees that the 2nd gen style looks the best.. the leds on the 3rd gen are placed so stupid. but thats my opinion

Not necessarily. I have the first gens on my car, I only had to cut (splice) into the harness to wire up the leds and halos. Otherwise they are plug and play, you can just plug them in and use the hi's/low's and turn signals, but the halos and leds will not light up.

I've had the regular SilverStars and were OK for color, but no life. Just bought the SilverStar Ultras. Had them in for 10 mins. I didn't care for them. Removed them and have them in original package.
