headlights not bright enough

So I bought my Ss/tc about a month ago. Some things have been done to it to include the headlights. They are gen 4 with xentec hids. What hids do I need to get for them to be brighter. The black box says voltage on them is 35. Do I need to get a stronger kit?

Your best buy is gonna be to buy/make a set of retrofits. They will have a brighter beam and a much wider one. You can run a 55w hid setup, but there's a high risk that you will damage the chrome on the reflector bowls of your current projectors, which will make the output even worse

Also do you know what color temp the current bulbs are? Whiter bulbs would help, and I'd they are more than a year old you'll gain a lot of light by simply replacing them with new bulbs. Hids dim over time, and aftermarket bulbs tend to have a very short lifespan

Drivers side is white while the passenger side is more purple/blue. I have to turn my fogs on just to see decently because they are brighter. What bulb do I need?

why because they are cheap? The are better quality than many analog style ballasts ive seen, we even cut one in half in my shop and were surprised and how the quality was better than VVME hids (this was over 2 years ago)

I would start with new bulbs and go from there, since bulbs are cheapest. 4300k will be the brightest. White with a tiny hint of yellow. As you go farther away from 4300k in the k rating they will get dimmer.
If you want a good, high quality set of bulbs, then get these

If you would like something from TRS PM us we carry everything for less. Also, projectors are not designed for HIDs. But as tommy said, 4300 is your best output.
