After looking at the car for the past ohhh i donno, 6 months, the "New Astra" from holden seems to me to have the same Light shape as the cobalt's. (i was looking at if for so long cuz i herd that was to be the next ION) N E WAY, i'm thinking about trying to order thos from Holden. But i wasn't sure if the fitment is 100%?? any 1 with any input, lemmie know. If your not sure what it looks like, go on GM.com and look at up! lol i'am at work and can't post pics. They look sick, and i'm sure a good amount of ppl would be into this 1! lemmie know guys!

i searched for like 9 different terms but couldn't find it either, wtf. i swear someone posted it side by side with pics and everything. bottom line is they're slightly different shaped if you look close and it can't be done.

Ya know what, id be willing to bet $$$ they fit..... Y would GM have 2 headlights like that that look so close, and are just a lil off??? I'll bet $$$ they fit!! I'm now on a Quest to GET THE NEW ASTRA HEADLIGHTS!

 

let me know how that goes, i also want to do something with the headlights only part of the car I don't really like.

 

did you notice the lights for the Astra SRI Turbo....those are sweet

 

yo p7x, or any 1 else for that matter. What u think the best way to go about asking to order these? GM Parts desk? Call a GM-800 #?? The parts Dept is closed around here on Sat, so i'll have to wait to ask them till monday. But imma do some homeworke tonight and tom and Order these friggin things! I'll keep any info/progress on this page

 

 

thankx man, i can't do that here in work! just save us alot of time! I think they are more clean the the Cobalts! + thats a Delta body, and they have a friggin 6-speed!!! Yo GM, whats up with us over here?? not good enough for it?

DAMN! gues i'll be waitin till monday to find out any good news!

 

That is NOT on the Delta platform . It is its own platform used overseas . Those headlights will not work in your car . They are quite awesome , but you would be wasting your money , or doing some SERIOUS fabricating to the front fenders , front facia , hoodline above the headlights , and all the mounting positions .

The Delta platform Ion replacement was cancelled , and GM just trademarked the Astra name to the Saturn brand in the US . You do the math . Just be patient and buy the car here . It should be a 2008 model for Saturn , "should" is just a reference to the year , not the car .

 

interesting....I'd still love to talk with an engineer from Holden.
