im in the process of painting my 2nd gens and ive hit a fork on the road. First off i dont like the ccfl halos cuz its too bright and looks cheesy. now the question is should i keep the eyebrow and lil leds or just diconnect them.........here are pics

I think it looks better without them. It gives the lights a much cleaner look

what happened to your stock headlights with LED's? I liked those more, should've retro-fitted them

I hope so...... I know you said the retros are expensive and you don't like the halos. I was in the same boat ,I got ahold of a set with one bad halo and am using the projectors out out them for my retros. After you get them all apart its really a nice projector and Im using E55 shrouds. Just some info for ya. Cant wait for "something" to arrive.....

I have an extra set of stockers but how would I get an e55 shroud from?

 

Mine are from a body shop buddy. Id think you could get them from a body shop , ebay, forum classifieds ,wrecking yard ect. I got E55 because I could and they were free. but Id think any would work really

 

mine are 8k in both fogs and head's.
