Help With Projectors.

So I bought the 1st generation projectors on ebay and tried to install them tonight. I cut the black wire, which I think is the ground wire for the stock headlights and the brown wire to hook up the leds and halos. However, I need to get these connected as I lost my gauge cluster lights and tail lights. Brake lights work fine. If you can help me and you live in Maryland or Northern Virginia, I am willing to drive and pay a small fee tomorrow. I'll be available tomorrow afternoon around 1 or so and definitely won't mind your help.

Call or text me if interested or post.

Update: I have tail lights and gauge cluster lights. I went to hook up the leds and halos and the top 3 leds work but the 4 halos don't.

301 splits into 97 eventually I think. It's mostly southern parts of Maryland. I live in southern Maryland and I know exactly where Glen Burnie is. Big street racing town.

301 is all over Maryland. Mostly southern though. Yeah, I used to come up to Glen Burnie all the time in my friend's STI. We don't do it as much anymore.

from what i remember on mine if its the same setup you should have 2 white wires and 2black wires.connect the 2 white wires to the brown and connect the 2 black wires to the black.everything should be working.if you still have no gauge lights or taillights then check your fuses.you may have pop'd a fuse when cutting into the wires.let me know if you have any questions.headlight wiring on our cars....brown is the positve one you want to splice into on the harness on the o.e.m. headlight.then connect that harness to your projector and plug into the main harness for the lights on the car. good luck man

Yeah, I know, the thing is, I don't have any electrical experience and I need A LOT of help with this. I'd much rather pay someone and have them do it for me. The HIDs are beautiful. I don't have the tools necessary for connecting the wires.

I have the black and brown wires twisted to each other right now. So they look like a stock harness. I don't understand why I lost my taillights and gauge cluster lights though.

Any clue what it could be? I don't think the ambers light up either when I start up the car with the remote key.

9 and 7 didn't do anything. I tried both of those before even reading this. Come to find out, I remember my ambers didn't light up when I remote started the car and they did with the stockers. So, I checked the parking light fuse and sure enough, my gauge cluster light and taillights are back to life. Who would have thought that the parking lamps would have done the job?

Thanks. However, I think the fuse blew was because of the car being in the on position. Don't ask. I honestly wasn't thinking. I have my driver side brown and black wires back together respectively with electrical tape for now and I'm going to hook up my leds and halos (with the car off) as soon as I get off work.

Okay so I followed the how-to and my top three leds work, however all four halos don't work.

Anyone know what the problem could be?

They're all burnt, or the hot (white-to brown on car) or ground (black) leads are not connected.
