the things that hold the net in place just screw off. then you can pull the carpet away and then there are two nuts you can take off. then the light should just pull out and you can disconnect the bulb

No I am not wrong. The things the hold the net on DO NOT hold the lights in. They only hold the carpet in place once you remove them you pull the carpet back and you remove two nuts and then remove the bulb from the tail light housing and then pop the tail light out.

Ok so take the netting off? And I looked at my trunk, so I just take that carpeting off inside the trunk and take the plastic covers off the lights, then I unscrew a bolt or two and they just come right out? I'm still kinda confused. How do I remove the lights that arn't in the trunk?

1. The plastic things that you hook the net onto need to be unscrewed
2. Pull back the carpet
3. Unscrew the nuts from the pack of the light (10 MM I believe)
4. Unplug the bulb
5. push the light out

dude its not rocket science. just start taking **** apart and you'll get to it.

here i go.

to take the reverse lights off...

1. open your trunk.
2. pull of the plastic covers behind the lights (one should have a big L on it and the other a big R)
3. they each should have like three nuts holding them on.
4. pull light out from trunk.

for the outer tail lights.

1. take the net off the hooks.
2. unscrew the hooks.
3. pull the carpet away.
4. unscrew both bolts holding light in.
5. pull light off car.

I can assure you that the purpose of the plastic pieces that you hook the net onto is not to hold the tail lights in. If you are missing the two nuts that hold it on you may want to invest $2 and get yourself some new ones and I would be willing to bet your tail light is far looser than one properly secured and I can guarantee I could walk up to your car and yank that ****** out the way you have it on there right now...

Thank you. Sorry that was such a dumb question but it was one of those things I wanted to know what I was doing before I did anything. I'm new to working on cars and no one in my family likes doing it, so if I need help, I come here. lol. Thanks again man.

haha not really dude. Screw that plastic piece on there and leave the nuts off and tell me where you parked your car and I will guarantee you that when you come back I will have a spare tail light for my car in my trunk...that plastic piece may screw onto the end of one of the studs coming off the back of the tail light but it is not meant to secure the light onto the car and that light WILL be looser than one secured properly with the nuts!

you my friend are wrong in deed.... it does hold the carpet, but that peg is attached to the light, and it holds the light along with the two nuts on the other pegs
