i want to tint my tails and side lights but not sure how to get the shine

I have heard of people sanding i just want to know what sand paper to use and how to get the shine if anyone could help that would be fantastic

 

im not positive but I think you wet sand it? with a high grit sandpaper? dont quote me on it though

 

the shine is achieved when you spray a clear coat over the night shade....wet sanding is to smooth the layers of paint...(it tends to leave a orange peel texture when the layers of paint cure) after you wet sand then apply clear...Research how to paint techniques before you attempt this....also research how to remove paint just in case....also ask what clear coat is appropriate for night shade..
