Help with VISUAL MODDING PLZ!!! Comment

The Balt is mine, the RL is my GF's. Idea's for some visual mods? Thanks in advance. What do you like, don't etc. What should we add on for looks. She not willing to drop her's at all, aside from the front end drop.

Performance Mods
Redline:K&N Cold Air Intake, GM 42lb Injectors, 3.1 Pulley, Dyno Tuned, B&M Short Shifter, Magnaflow Catback Exhaust, Ingalls "Stiffy" Torque Damper, Comp. Package Boost Gauge and Ladder Tach, Eibach Drop, Interceptor Scan Gauge, HP Tuners, ZZP Header and Downpipe, Innovate LC-1 Wideband.
Balt: Pacesetter Ceramic Header, Magnaflow, K & N Air Filter, and B&M Short Shifter.

Here's Better Pics, Little Better Quality:

Yes, I know about the holes, trying to find the low rise spoiler to replace.

Add an actual poll to the thread to see better results. But I think the Cobalt would look better without the stripes, and the Redline would look good with tinted windows and black projectors.

Well on the balt I say ditch the stripes, personally I'm not a fan, maybe some aftermarket wheels? Idk looks fine as is, black painted headlights would look good. on the RL, tinted corners, wingless, and aftermarket wheels are all that's needed. Good looking cars imo.

How do you debadge without damaging cars paint? Can they be reapplied if it's sold? Stripes stay, my grandfather recently passed away and he loved the ol' stripes. I grew on them too while looking at old muscle cars with him. It's my ode to the man who changed my life. I only use deflectors to leave my windows cracked here in AZ without some (Insert favorite racist comment, LOL JK) seeing it open and trying to steal my ride. I do want some rims badly, but maybe just powder coat???? I'm smoking the top part of my headlight, and smoking the taillights soon.

Your car is clean, a black m62 with red ribs would look nice there.

for the balt i would get a sstc upper grille, ditch the stripes and do a upper and lower evo mod, and possibly paint rims black. i also like the look of cf trunks, but thats all just my opinion of course.

I like this look, but holy crap is it over done.

I say finish the stripes in the back (go down the bumper) and get either black housing headlights, or a lenses cover. The wheels would look great black, with a red pinstripe. You could make this car look really nice, and not spend alot. You could even tint the tails if you're into that look

If you are sticking with the stripes, have it continue onto the rear bumper. Evo Mod the front. If you haven't already, pick up about 3 cans of Acrylic Enamel, a weekend and a relatively dust free place and black out the headlights. If you have money, search around for a how to do a retrofit project and put a 55W 5000k HID kit in it. I would have your lower front lip wrapped in Carbon Fiber Vinyl or have it replaced with an actual Carbon Fiber Lip. Go to Home Depot or Lowe's and buy the garage door rubber seal (That goes along the bottom edge of the door) and put it on your lower lip and rear bumper lower lip.

Other than a shorty antenna, that is what I would do =)

Alright so I gave myself the trouble to upload pictures for this thread lol.

Image #1: Paint your calipers. My car is black, so I painted them red. It would also look great or your car. I paid 25$ CAN for the kit at a local store.

By microgab at 2011-06-14

Image 2: Paint your rims black. It works very well with red calipers and a red car. I only used plastidip and it looks great!

By microgab at 2011-06-14

Image 3: I painted the cheap plastic grille that comes with the car black, with regular plastic spray paint. Also done the same thing with the chevy logo and added a red camaro SS that I got from ebay

By microgab at 2011-06-14

Any thoughts of my mods anyone? I think most of them would look great on your car!

I'm liking you mods. You do need something else red to accent the calipers though. Maybe make the Chevy emblem on your rims red also, they have vinyls that are cheap online that just stick right on and will pull of the look much better if your not going to paint like you mirrors red and maybe add like some sort of cool vinyl to the car. I'm looking at paint my rims like the post above with the part black, part chrome. I like how much better the stock grill looks painted, very nice. Also its an item you could have painted red if you wanted to do a two tone throughout the car. Nice stuff man, thanks for the ideas.

just make sure you paint the inside of your headlights black, itd make it look really good. since youre keeping the black stripes, you might as well be murdered, itd help keep your theme together, although i dont think a red pinstripe on the rims would look bad.

Plastidip rims?= a waste. Unless your just wanting to get a feel for a new color.

If your gonna have the rims done, get em done right the first time.

I'm ordering black projector's off Ebay soon here. Any suggestions on which ones are best quality and stuffs? Might have a paint shop paint the spokes on my rims black but leave the rest chrome. Thanks for all the input guys.
