Hey guys, I'm about as new as you can get to the Cobalt world though I'm not new to modding cars. I just got down modding my 2003 Mustang into a pretty sweet ride and now I'm looking at trading that in for a 05/06 Cobalt LS Coupe amd I'm equally excited about tricking out a Cobalt.

The very first question is what wheels should I get, and what size? Do you guys lower your cars like us Mustangs boys have too? Mustangs naturally have that nasty 4x4 stance but I'm not sure if Cobalts do too.

I got 18x9s all around for my stang so I'm wondering what size, price, and recommendations do you guys have for custom wheels and lowering. Any help would be great, thanks!!

I like those rims, Im surprised to hear you are goin from a Stang to the ls,Are you not interested in the ss/na or ss/sc?,you can also choose the G5 its hittin the lots anytime now,its the same car as the cobalt but better lookin

Thanks guys!! I'm trading in my stang for a cobalt LS cause in my opinion it has the potential to look just as good as the stang, but its much lighter and gets WAY better gas mileage.

I love my stang and I will always be a mustang enthusiast at heart, but the 20 mpg/ city is killing me. My girlfriend and I love tooling around the city listening to music and talking while everyone stares at our car HAHA. But if were gonna do that we need something more fuel efficient.

Has anyone ever heard of Kazera wheels, they sell them on tirerack.com. Also I was looking into a RKSportline body kit with the carbon fiber ram air hood.

Also, what do you guys usually use to lower your cars. We all used Ford Racing "C" springs with CC Plates but I'm new to the cobalt world. Thanks
