mostly because..only reason people get CF hood's is for apperence.
Only reason I would get one is to save weight (and I would paint it) but yeah, most peeps get them because they look racey. Form or function? Hmmmm.......

Listen to this, i just heard this this weekend. People will lay down a black finished coat, then lay down one of those rubber matts that like you see in a kitchen cabinet to keep things from sliding, and spray silver over that......

it's not that hard to do it u paint it one color first then you know those things that people put under thier rugs and **** to keep it from sliding on their floors. it's like a rubbery material with little holes and such in it. or anything like that...and you paint the rest. with that stuff sitting on top.

and reading > me someone just posted this rofl

Yup it's with that no slip rubber thing. I tried doing it with a spray can but didn't come out to well. First your base has to be black or silver them u put the rubber non slip thing on in sections and paint it black. The you use something like nightshades afterwards allover the painted area to give it a dark look. Like I said it comes out ok with spraycan but better with airbrush

I have never seen a paint job so cool before.

Wonder how much it would cost to have this done.
