HID covers anyone use these?

http://www.casperselectronics.com/st...roducts_id=693

says they cut glare for the asshats that want to put HIDs in stock housing... i just want to know if anyones tried something like this. i know thats not for a 9007 but im sure something similar exists...

for those too lazy to click the link which is 99% of us css.net users... its a cover that goes over a d2s or d2r bulb to reduce upward glare...

Meh... I'd just rather use Projectors.

I'd say to an extent, but probably not enough to keep the 5-0 off of you.

They might work to reduce glare but you will have no high beams at all, even if you have a bixenon kit.

No highbeams = no chance in my deer and moose populated dark as the inside of a cow back road world....

Hey I have HID's in stock housings lol

I'm not worried about it though, i'm not paying for something I don't think I need :P Plus other then retrofits, Projectors look stupid IMO.

Agreed, my FXR projectors are soooo nice, best mod I've ever done to my car IMO. I had HIDs in my stockers but I feel like they just didn't cut it.

I'm an asshat.

Never been flashed though, but I too have highs .

I took a bit of time to aim mine, and don't give two ***** if you don't like HID's in stock housings .

However if these put more usable beam down onto the road, for the right price, I'd purchase.
