Exclamation (HID) daytime running light prob.

Hey everyone I just got my HID kit install about a week ago. A week later I notices my HIDs dont come on any more when i put my car in drive in the daytime like it did the 1st week of the install. The night time running light mode they will turn on fine but when it comes to daytime running lights they stay off when they use to turn on. Is there a short or lose wire or dose it mean something bad with the HID kit?

What year do you have?

But I think that your DRL's are either your

1.) Low-Wattage High Beams (07-08)
or
2.) Your parking lights (05-06)

Then, I believe that you have the High Beams (Low Wattage) as your DRL's.

So if you have the HID kit hooked up to the projectors, (hopefully in the low beam), then everything still should work fine.

If your in the stock halogen housings, then I suggest you change them out for some projectors.

I got projectors with Low-beam 6000k HID and they where worken perfect in daylight running mode till today I notices my lights where NOT reflecting off backs of cars when stop at red lights which i see every time my lights are on so when i got home, i put my parking brake on and put my car in drive and checked out the lights my self the daytime running lights are off and wont came back on. I tryed turning auto lights back on and off still no luck.

The autos lights DRL's (daytime running lights) should till be your high beams.

But your DRL's turn off when the e-brake is engaged.

hmm they where not on even with it off, O well as long as they come on at night I dont care and my brights wont work thou. I was just worry about the HID kit itself dying on me

I can get the high beams to turn on if i pull the lever towards me but when i switch i to high beam only they dont turn on.
