HID/DRL's

I seem to be an exception where im having problems with my HID's going out every few weeks. The company is working with me to take care of the issue We are staring to wonder if DRL's are causing it.

So, im wondering do most of yall disable the DRL's, or not with installing HID's?
It seems some do and some dont so I wanted to get a better overall picture in the cobalt community.

I have 3rd Gen projectors the HID's are in.

Thanks for you insight....

Sorry corrected my spelling in the header.

yes, DRLs are the well known cause of the issue. Just pull the fuse, and enjoy not having problems anymore.

I checked the manuel and didnt see a fuse for them(since thats what I was thinking), or im a retard and just missed it. Is it in the fuse box under the hood or inside the car? I have 06 SS/SC if that helps.

Only 07+ have a DRL fuse since those DRLs use the headlights instead of the turn signals. Your car being an 06 still uses the turn signals as DRL so they shouldn't be doing anything with the HIDs.
