Hey guys,

I just received my H1 HID kit and was wondering where you guys installed your ballasts.

I mounted mine under my upper grill

 

if the ballasts are small, remove the black headlight cradle and mount them to the metal underneath, then run the wires back up to the headlights. I've done that to 2 balts now, and they've had no problems, plus, the install is clean

do you have any pix an0malous?

 

I 2nd putting them under the headlight cradle... I have a set of AL ballasts that I put under the cradle, then taped over to help with water proofing. Best spot in my opinion.
