HID high beams - is it worth the money?

I have these lights: http://store.racer-union.com/Project...-p5499545.html

I've casually thought about it at times, is it worth it? Also, what would I need to have done to get them, and also in not getting a fake-like/artificial/inadequate light set-up?

Also, I kinda don't mind the low-hi brief dimming after they're changed from one to another for a bit, but just out of curiosity, how would I go about getting it so there isn't really any dimming? Or is just the way it is because of the required power-up? I read there was something like a relay device?

I absolutely love the legitimacy of these lights though, the display, output, and look is fantastic.

you can try setting up a relay to keep your low beams on while your high beams are. that way while your waiting for your hi beams to warm up the low will be on providing the same amount of light

So they'd be on at the same time briefly when I go to switch from high to low (after being on for a bit)?

Which ones are better, those or the ones I have now (first link in first post)?
