HID+projectors?????

im sure its been disscused before but im wondering if i get some projector headlights can i just slap in some HID's if i get the right plug and play + blub?? or am i gonna run into problems like melting the projector or something? also will i need anything speacial not to **** off on coming traffic?

if u get the 3rd gens there is soemthing u have to do to do the "anti glare" mod. its real easy and theres a how too. i dunno about the other gens. and **** plug and play do relays

yes....and it will go 50/50 with people here....one half will say thats not right and dont do it..
others will say you need to get projectors.

personally i bought 3rd gen projectors for my hid's just because i dont want to blind people on the road....even if they are aimed low, HID's arent meant for a reflective housing

If this is the case, than why are there older Lexus's out there with HID's and reflective housings.... stock.

Those are specially designed reflector housing, built for HID.

It really comes down to aiming them properly.

those might use like d2r bulbs i think instead of the d2s... they have half the bulb blacked out... i'm not 100% sure tho

I think you have that wrong.

Half of the people on here will say it's a no go due to a brighter source being in reflector housings.

The other half will say that everything is fine and they don't care about "blinding" other people.
