what gives best light output, stock ss/tc lights, stock with hids or gen 4 with hids

Why not do a retrofit and get the best ouput possible. I do them if you are interested. I am in Toronto Canada also. Send me your email if you are interested.

6000k is the brightest you can go, the higher you go, the less brightness you get. i got 8000k and they are still pretty bright.

PM me your email address and I can send you pics of some of the sets that I have done. They can avaerage anywhere between $400 - $700 on average which includes everything to do a plug and play installation including HID's.

anything below 6k is really bright, i have 6k's in my retros and their bright as f***

No matter what you choose, do not go higher than 6000K. OEM colour is 4300K, so that or 5000K would give you the most output.

Truth. I run 6000k and they are very bright but I wish I had run 5000k or 6k 55 watt balasts. The reason I regret it is because yellow oem color shining in your eyes (oncoming traffic/ street lights) is blinding because of the color temp. Being so different: in the city they get a little washed out by all the light. Way brighter in darkness obviously..

Best output will be achieved with a projector as there's less wasted light.
