me personally, i found 6k to be basically the same performance, but a nicer color.

8k is sexy as hell, love the color the most out of all of them, but theres a slight drop in lighting performance (still far better than a silverstar)

10k is a little to purplish for me, ive seen 10k look blue, or purple. i think it depends on the manufacturer. the loss in lighting compared to 4300-6k is quite noticable (still better than a halogen, but not by alot)

anything past 10k is a joke.
you lose lighting performance exponentially, and you might as well save your money and buy colored halogens.
Where did you buy your projectors?

you can find them on ebay, or go to www.hidplanet.com

when i get my cobalt, that is the first thing im doing retrofit. I did a retrofit for my cavalier, and they say once you go H.I.D. you dont go back. :P

Thanks. I knew you could get them on eBay but I was wondering where Anomalous purchased that set. I don't want to get stuck with a subpar pair of lenses.

well if you go to hidplanet, they list a plethora of projectors that are well suited to H.I.Ds

my personal favorite being the TSX Projectors.

I'm confused. All I see on HID planet are projectors that I would have to mount in a headlight assembly, not the complete assembly. In my state you need high and low beams to pass state inspection.

All of those reflectors are engineered specifically to handle HIDS.
most new vehicle manufacturers since have realised that projectors are another step better than HID reflectors.

You dont have HID reflectors.
you have halogen reflectors.

Keep telling yourself you have hardly any glare
I hope that you dont cause an accident, and kill someone, and spend the rest of your life eating those words.

You have a pathetic attitude.

like someone else said, those were DESIGNED to have HID's unlike the cobalt.
