HIDs and Canada, a Question.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I want to make sure these are gonna pass Saskatchewan's provincial legislation before I buy them and end up with my car pulled off the road.

I was wondering, do most HID kits keep the DRLs active or do you lose them completely? Because I need some DRL function to keep my car street legal here.

So retrofitted headlights are a no-go then? Shame too, I like how they look. Guess I'll just run some gen 4s with halogens. Thanks for the info.

I just realized something: my Cobalt's drls are the marker lights, aren't they? In that case, all my worries are for nothing.

well I live in Massachusetts, and technically any aftermarket lighting is illegal, even retro fits but who is going to do anything about it? not the inspection guys they dont care, and cops barely notice them, just somehing to add on to a ticket if you **** a cop off.

If you have a 05-06, your markers are your DRLs.

If you have a 07-10, your low beams are your DRLs.

HIDs don't change that.
