Homemade LED truckstop tail lights
Homemade LED truckstop tail lights
Didnt really plan on doing this , but
I was traveling this weekend , stop at a truck stop to something to drink and ended up picking up a pair of semi lights . Most of the ones Ive seen dont have very many LEDs , but these had 40 per light and had a nice chrome shroud to boot , so what the hell ...they were cool . $45 bought them both . I spent a few hours last night installing them and heres the results .
I took pics of everything I did , I'll do a how to after work today . Its really not that hard at all . For about a 1/3 or a lil less than the cost of the Ebay lights , plus these have more LED's , I think it was worth it . The light fills the housing completely , its even visible still from a side shot . It was really hard to get a decent pic of them lit up though , I couldnt get rid of all the glare .
