hood protection....

as my car is new....and i see cars everyday with like 5000km on them with stone chips, I was wondering if there is a product out there that protects us from this problem....like a clear bra or some sort of vinal product? basically something to put on that you cant see that keeps the **** off our front end...i swear its like a magnet for bugs but im more interested in keeping the paint on

anyone?

dont get to close behind someone, keep a minimum of 4 seconds distance. also get a good wax on there. I already found one rock chip below my fog light

From what Iv heard there is no fading what so ever. In another Thread a guy said he had one on a car for like 7 years and it still looks new

It's not supposed to fade, is meant to come off, and has great return on value. I have the 3M, and i've only had two rocks punch a hole through it. One was a really BIG rock, and the other, i was going really fast and got sandblasted...
Average lifespan is 8-15 years (depending on product, 3M or ClearBra).

You can't even tell i have 39 000 kms on my Cobalt!

Hmmm.... can't say i've waxed mine... but it sure cuts down on the waxing!!

Btw, JSChatte, where did you get one cut for yours? Is there a shop in Regina, or did you order it online?
