If I saw that on a random cobalt just driving around, my first reaction would be "AAAAAAAAAHHAHAHAHAH!!!!"

If you REALLY like it thats cool, but I just thought you should know that laughter WILL ensue if you get this scoop.

I don't think its that bad. If you like it go for it. **** what everyone else thinks. Its not something I would put on my cobalt cuz I want a CF hood. Good luck bro.

are you going to actually cut your hood and put it on right, or just glue it to the hood or something?

this is the definition of "to each their own" it's your car, if you like it, go for it. It will definitely make you more unique. If you do it, do it right and make sure the colors match and that it is functional.

Look at it this way, if you do install it correctly and it's functional, when it rains you can just climb into the engine bay through it and work on your car that way.

I saw a Cobalt up here in Fort McMurray, Alberta that had the Lund dual scoops that are attached to the hood. I just about crashed I was laughing so hard.

If you are getting a hood scoop...just get a new hood with it built in. It looks a LOT better then the fake ones.

It would be installed properly and I would make a cut out on my hood. I manage a collision center so i know the right way to do it.

I'm not a big fan of it, its a little too large. Take a look at the RKSport Ram Air hoood, its similar, but smaller and flows well with the car. Just a thought.

Didn't know there were meets going on. Besides, I work about 65-70 hours a week at my shop and then go to a lot of car shows and drag races. Let me know when the next one is.
