I would like to get the rk ram air hood for my car, but ive also been considering getting black vinyl stripes also... I want to get an opinion on having that hood plus stripes... Do you guys think that it would flow well? or would the ram air portion make it look goofy? if thats not a good look i definitely want to paint the ram air section black, but i wanted a cf trunk also. im not sure wut the car would look like with the one black portion on the hood and cf trunk in the back.. any suggestions?

 

clustered question dude......... what are you really trying to ask?

 

im looking at 3 different exterior setups. im basically gonna go with whichever would look better.

1. ram air hood with the front ram air portion painted black and cf trunk

2. ram air hood but i also want black stripes on the car. i think it will look odd with the stripes going past the ram air portion

3. cf ram air hood and cf trunk

 

i dont know about the ram air hood, but def the stripes. i got pics if you want to look at them. there black.

 

i saw ur pics.. if i get em i want em a bit thinner but with a white outline and i want them to go all the way down to the front lip and all the way down the rear in the back.. they look good tho.. i just cant imagine them well with the hood

 

mine were part of a package from the dealer. i bought it that way. i wasnt looking for something like that, but when i saw it i wanted to take them off. but after a few days they grew on me.

 

if you are getting a cf trunk you have to get the hood. the black strips would look dumb with the cf trunk.

it all depends on how you want it to look. i would think that a cf hood and trunk will look good together, but its not required. are you after style, weight reduction or what. i wouldnt go with cf unless i was wanting a weight reduction. my opinion.

 

well i want the ram air hood for funcitonality.. i was thinking cf trunk because i wanna do the front portion of the hood in black so i figured it would match a bit. my rims are black and silver so i was trying to follow that thme somehow.. the trunk isnt a must, its a mix between functionality and looks
