Hoods

Hey all! Anyone have a recomendation for a good aftermarket hood. I am starting to shop around for one. I think I want a extractor style, not carbon fibre and must be suitable for winters. all thoughts and opinions welcome.

Get the RKsport G5 hood. It's sooooo nice. I can't wait till I can afford mine.

Maybe I'm just a fan because of my uncle's 04 GTO with the dual hood scoops and my mom's G8, and my dad's old Grand Am GT. I'm really used to them and I've grown to like them a lot lol.

They wouldn't look right on a cobalt cuz the grille is different. On a g5 they are nice. If I had a color other than black I would get a carbon fiber hood for sure.

Ya I like the CF and it sure would look good on my yellow SS but they fade over time (go yellowish even if you clear coat them they will still yellow) and they are not the greatest in winter although neither is fibre glass. I do like the look of the G5 but the all say functional ram air but what i under stand is that the ram in air to the engine bay to cool but if i want ram air I want it stuffed down the intake! I think and extractor hood would be better and assist a little more in keeping the SC cooler.
