to bad it also kills the purpose of the door.... and removes all safety in the door... therefore u get hit on the side and ur fucked

This is nothing new.. BMW has been placing this technology on certain high end (European only) model BMWs since the early 90s. Its still sweet though.. And no.. it doesn't take away from safety or whatever. It comes like that stock from BMW.

This czeck (spelling) guy that owns a bakery in my town said he owned one back in Germany that had doors that did that ****.
