How do I make steel wheels look Racey?
I have some steel wheels on my cobalt and I hate the hub caps. I autocross so I want them not look like garbage (like steel wheels usually look). Has anyone done anything like this? I was thinking either paint the wheels red or replace the nuts with chrome ones or both? Any ideas? Pictures would help.

lower your car, makes any wheel look ok, got my factory wheels on for the winter. Don't think its possible to make a steel wheel look good. There's to many pos's riding around with there hubcaps off now.

I dont want to spend in the hundreds of dollars for another set of wheels. I already have my summer rims which are chrome verde protocols so I can do without buying new rims. I just want to make them look nicer. I know it would be the best option to buy new rims but I cant financially.

they're steelies for gods sakes!!! why you trying to make a hole-stamped chunk of metal look sporty? its simply not going to happen.. the only advice i can say is "take pride in your steelies"
