How do you guys smoke/black your tails??

Seen many different ways to do it
1. Replace with aftermarkets or smoked stockers
2. Nightshade
3. smoke overlays


thinking about blacking out my tails

anybody got some night pics of blacked out tails?

Damn DannyG that looks good for nightshade lol

how many coats did you put on? it looks thick


by professional I would go with replaceing for $80 on ebay

I did 3 coats nite shades then like 4 or 5 coats clear coat. Wet sanded 1500 then 300 then buffed with rubbing compound. Haha if you have the money I'd get them done professionally, but for less than 20 bucks I'm happy with what I got Lol

I have no clue who around here would do them professionally though or the price it would be

About 5 coats of nightshade with clearcoat over top. As you can see 3 coats of nightshade would of been fine lol a bit to dark..

Looks pretty good haha. It all depends how heavy your coats are. I did my buddy's and did light light coats and we ended up doing 4 or 5 coats of nite shades.

haha no its not photoshopped just way to much nightshade on it. At night its fine but during the day i watch the mirrors pretty close when im breaking

Im thinking more like......

This eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices


quick clean effective and slap stocks on classifieds and walk away maybe $50 for the new ones after selling the stockers

Mine were done by a member on here, but some body shops or custom car painting shops will know how to do it.

good god please do not even put nightshades in the list of options. It's like someone painted them very nice and said I think I'm gonna sand the **** out of these till there is no shine
