how do you make tinted tails mirror like

how do you make tinted tails mirror like

mine are very dull and cloudy and today I saw some smoked tails on a acura and it was really shinny and reflective like a mirror...

someone told me to wetsand with a realllly high grit paper, but ive also heard some type of polisher should be used...


any ideas?

spray them with automotive clear out of a spray gun...

clear coat them. Then wet sand them to get out the imperfections. Then get out a buffer and buff it till it shines.

Can't get any more simpler than that.

I used polish as well. Didn't sand mine and they came out nice and shiny

Do you have the vinyl covers though?

If he wet sand's his VHT lights, then he can get out the orange peel effect.

Those were the ipcw tails I had. Sold em

put stockers on and nightshaded them

did my old tail lights with nite shades and duplicolor clear...... i did 1 coat of niteshades and then 1 coat of clear, until the desired darkness let dry and it blended perfectly.

3M is what most shops use. But most company's make decent products. And yes your suppose to buff out the clear, not the base.
