how do you remove the wiper arms

how do you remove the wiper arms

ok i paint matched the wiper blade housings and was going to paint match the arms as well and i can't figure out how to get them off. its like they're pressed on or something, if anyone has gottem them off let me know how you did it.

They are pressed on. They do make a tool to take them off, But I have always used a prybar, Seems to work just as good

BE CAREFUL WITH THE PRYBAR IF YOU USE THAT!!!! I've seen people crack their windshield because they get the prybar around the stud attached to the wiper motor (which won't budge when you try to pry on it) rather than the wiper arm itself.
