Finally, somebody with an explaination to go with their opinion

 

got chrome on the 1st gen projectors and got some chrome trim on the bowties that is enough chrome to make the car flow with gunmetal rims imo. Plus my car is black with little chrome here and there match the rims perfect imo., but each to there own.

Im lowering my car and getting gunmetal rims (17'') if people like it or not.

Laugh at me if you want to but I bought the rims they were too good of a deal to pass up. I think I can make them work if I put some more chrome on the car. Do you know of any chrome additions that look good? Im gonna do something with the grille.

eh i wouldn't unless the car was black. as someone has stated you'll need more chrome accessories to help them blend in more. BUT, for $300 i'd buy them...put them on and check it out...and if you don't like them sell them for $400 on craigslist. you'll find someone that isn't a member on here to buy them.

 

i have a silver car and the only things chrome are the lip on my black rims and the grill which i might paint black. check my gallery maybe it will give you an idea. 300 for a set isnt bad i mean if you dont like them you can always paint them and it will be cheaper than anything else around you.

 

I'll put them up when I get them. I dont have tires cause I'm not gonna drive on them until after winter. I'll take a pic of the rim on the car without a tire.

2: Get More chrome

You guys are halarious! I'm gonna keep looking at this thing to just to see how many different reactions I can get I've made up my mind and I AM gonna do what I mentioned above. When I get it done and I like it I'll put up more pics.

 

I bought some Eibach Sportlines from Turbo Tech Racing $243 shipped. If you bought some cheaper please dont tell me I'll put up some pics when I get them installed. Oh....and I ditched those 18" chrome things I was ganna buy Turns out they were discontinued and I couldn't get center cap for them.
