yeah idk about rims or not, but def some of the silver/gray interior pieces in the cobalt would look really good carbon fiber, i know you can do inlays but i think this would be a hell of a lot easier

thats ****** awesome. I think one of the guys i talk to a lot around here at car shows got a few things on his GT500 done like this with the carbon fiber look. I'd love to do this to my TC wheels with the Carbon fiber. would definately be unique.

yea for sure, just wanna know how well it holds up from rock chips and what not, looked up prices and its not bad i think 100 for a kit, idk how big the sheets are or how many, but looked pretty decently priced.

yea Maven's lights are done like this, but i just wrapped my interior trim the beginning of the week with 3D CF vinyl if you just want that look ... $22 bucks at metrorestyling.com for a 48" x 24" sheet and i only used 2/3 of it so i may wrap my mirror covers come spring time... there's a couple spots that were tough as hell to make smooth but it didnt turn out bad and i've had nothing but compliments so far, here's a pic....

I have my interior trim hydro dipped. I did it back when it was a fairly new process. Only myself and one other member (who did the job for me) had this done. Here's some pics:

Before:

After:

Installed:

Honestly, after six years with this trim, the only problem I have is the some (very little) of the gloss black part is chipping and cracking. I think as popular as it is now, I could find someone to redo this part for me. If not, I don't mind spraying it down with some paint.

Here's a pic though of the other member (no longer posts here) who did it for me:

Like I said, I got this done when it was brand new. So yes, it was very expensive. It cost (if I remember correctly) about 700-850 for everything I did with the trim. So I imagine it would cost ball park around that much for wheels today, if not slightly more expensive.
