being that I have hydrodipped a few things myself. I'd say it would definately be possible. depending how you dip them though you may have a "stretched" appearance in the pattern in places. what pattern you looking to do?

idk what pattern was thinking about mayb a colored carbon fiber, or a pattern that looks like it has water droplets on it in a electric blue.

im not too sure how the process works and i wana make sure that the water wont get inside the caliper and f anything up... its going to be done by JM auto racing here in long island

just make sure to block off where the brake line connects into the caliper and you will be fine

there was a guy on here that did his calipers I think.. but there's guys that do their valve covers all the time with no problem, so i think you'll be straight

ill just have to find something to plug them up real good then so the water dont go inside and mix with the brake fluid.

WOW! So many possibilities with this technology... Wonder what the limits of this coating process are?

from what I've done, there isnt much for limits..

basically you spray your primer
then flat base coat (high temp if needed)
then dip
then clear (high temp if needed)

some parts are obviously more tricky to dip than others, but the process itself is fairly simple. Very odd shaped objects are normally the hardest as the graphics will stretch more in some areas than others, but past that the limitiations on dipping is really up to the limitations of your imagination.. whatever you can paint, you can dip

i believe there is this pattern called "marble splash". its actually a very cool pattern if you were to say have a yellow base coat on it.

I'm all for going outside the typical "cf" though.. right now my bowtie is cf dipped but thats only because I cant find the digital camo film I'm looking for. I eventually want quite a few parts done in red/white/black digi camo
