I dunno if this has been done before but...

I'm doing a 'demon eye' mod on my foglights:

I've only got the one done so far...but I plan on finishing up the other one tomorrow, and I'll post some pics of them installed...

Lemme know what you think!

It was pretty easy to do actually. I just used a flexible LED strip and fed it thru the hole I drilled and used double sided sticky tape to hold it in place. My biggest concern is how well will the LED's stay in place with the foglights always on, driving around etc. I'll install them tomorrow and keep you guys updated.

And here is a quick 'how to' for what I've done so far...

To start you need to remove your foglight projector and get an LED strip. I chose blue for mine but you can obviously do any color.

Then you trim the LED strip down so it will fit without overlapping at all. I ended up cutting my strip in half.

Next you drill a hole in the projecter housing and feed the LED strip thru and secure it in place using double sided tape.

As you can see I also put a rubber grommet in as well to help seal...Before I actually install them onto the car I will but a bit of silicone in to completely seal it up.

Make sure everything is in place and test it out!

Here it is in the dark...

I have no idea how this will hold up over time, but I had an extra set of foglight housings so I figure wth. It's worth a shot! I'm about to go to bed so I'll update later today when I get everything put in. and then pics once night falls

I wouldn't recommend running both this and your fogs. Gonna be a lot of heat. Could damage the leds. Worth a shot though I guess.

You're prolly right, but I'm just messing around anyway since these foglight housings are spares...

I have HID's in my fogs, yes. But in the pics with the actual foglights on the LEDs were turned off...
